Resistant to poisonous chemicals that shorten pellistor life, it has long-life optics with lower maintenance costs and offers improved performance with excellent long-term stability and fast response times.
- Consistent Operation: The Polytron 5310, part of the Drager Polytron 5000 series, features a uniform design and user interface, reducing training and maintenance requirements. The backlit display shows status, gas concentration, and measurement units. Colored LEDs provide additional alarm and status information.
- Integrated Relays: Available with three relays for controlling external equipment, it enables independent gas detection with two adjustable concentration alarms and one fault alarm.
- Robust Housing: Features a Class I, Div. 1 rated explosion-proof enclosure made from aluminum or stainless steel. The type “e” version includes a docking station for installation in hazardous areas without conduit.
- Remote Sensor: The sensor condulet housing allows the sensor to be installed up to 30 meters away from the Polytron transmitter, with a splash guard and integrated tubing nipple for one-person calibration.
