The Falco PID is a fixed VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) gas detector designed for continuous monitoring of ambient air. It features an integrated PID (Photoionization Detector) sensor, which is highly sensitive to low concentrations of VOCs. The sensor can detect VOCs down to fractions of ppm, making it suitable for various industrial applications. The device is explosion-proof, ensuring safety in hazardous environments. It incorporates Typhoon Technology to protect the sensor from condensing humidity and allows maintenance-free operation in extreme conditions.
The Falco PID also includes Fence Electrode Technology for accurate performance across different humidities. It offers flexible communication options, including analog 4-20 mA, Modbus RS-485, and relays. The device comes with a 10.6 eV lamp for detecting a wide range of VOC gases, and an optional 10.0 eV lamp for detecting Total Aromatic Compounds (TACs).
