3M 7093 Particulate Filter, P100

The 3M Particulate Filters 7093 Series are specifically designed for use in high-heat and wet environments. With a durable, plastic-encased, swept-back design, these filters enhance comfort and visibility while providing protection in demanding conditions. An innovative solid-top air inlet channels airflow to reduce premature loading and extend filter life. The P100 filters feature a unique spring-loaded cover that simplifies user seal checks, users can easily press the cover to restrict airflow and confirm a proper respirator fit. When paired with compatible 3M reusable half or full facepiece respirators, they help protect against a wide range of airborne particulates.

NIOSH-approved as P100 filters, the 7093 Series offers 99.97% filtration efficiency against both oil and non-oil based solid and liquid aerosols, including hazardous substances like lead, asbestos, cadmium, and arsenic. When properly fitted, these filters provide protection up to 10 times the OSHA PEL with half facepieces and up to 50 times with quantitatively fit-tested full facepieces. Some models also offer nuisance-level relief from organic vapors or acid gases. However, they are not intended for use in immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH) environments or in areas with high levels of organic vapors or acid gases—except for hydrogen fluoride in certain models.
