- Gas Flexibility: Combined with the Polytron 5700, it offers a gas library with up to 100 gases, selectable and cross-calibrated with standard gases like methane or propane.
- Consistent Operation: Part of the Dräger Polytron 5000 series, it features the same design and interface for easy operation. The backlit display shows status, gas concentration, and measurement units. Colored LEDs (green, yellow, red) provide alarm and status information.
- Integrated Relays: Available with three relays for controlling external equipment, enabling independent gas detection with adjustable concentration alarms and a fault alarm.
- Robust Housing: Features a Class I, Div. 1 rated explosion-proof enclosure made from aluminum or stainless steel. The type “e” version includes a docking station for installation in hazardous areas without conduit.
- Remote Sensor: Allows the PIR sensor to be installed up to 30 meters away from the transmitter, with a calibration flow cell for one-person calibration of remote sensors.
