Drager X-pid 9500 (6851848) is a portable gas detection instrument designed for the selective measurement of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), including toxic and carcinogenic substances such as benzene and 1,3-butadiene. It combines photoionisation detection (PID) and gas chromatography (GC) technologies to identify and measure specific compounds in complex gas and vapour mixtures.
The Drager X-pid 9500 features two measurement modes: Seeker mode and Analysis mode. Seeker mode provides continuous, broadband measurement of the total VOC concentration to help locate potential contamination sources. Analysis mode separates individual compounds through gas chromatography and enables selective measurement of predefined target substances, even when other VOCs are present.
The 6851848 configuration includes a sensor unit, a control unit with pre-installed mobile application, power supplies, charging cables, a test gas adapter, and a dust and water filter.
