Product Description
The Honeywell NOTIFIER FSP-951 Addressable Smoke Detector is an intelligent photoelectric detector designed to provide early warning of potential fire hazards. It uses an optical sensing chamber to detect smoke and communicates with compatible fire alarm control panels through a two-wire Signaling Line Circuit (SLC). The detector supports NOTIFIER FlashScan and CLIP protocols, depending on system configuration, and offers programmable sensitivity settings from 0.5% to 4.0% obscuration per foot for UL applications. It operates on 15–32 VDC and has a typical standby current of 200 µA at 24 VDC.
The detector continuously monitors its operating status and can report its location and chamber contamination information to the connected control panel. It operates at temperatures from 0°C to 50°C and supports relative humidity levels of 10–93% non-condensing. With an airflow rating of up to 4,000 ft/min, a height of approximately 51 mm, and a weight of around 95 g, it can be installed using compatible B300-6 or B501 series bases. The FSP-951 is UL/ULC Listed and has additional approvals that depend on the product version and region.
