Product Description
The Honeywell NOTIFIER FRM-1 Relay Module is an intelligent addressable module designed to provide dry-contact switching for auxiliary control functions in compatible NOTIFIER fire alarm systems. It features two sets of isolated Form-C contacts arranged for DPDT switching and responds to commands from the connected fire alarm control panel. Powered directly through the two-wire Signaling Line Circuit (SLC), the module does not require a separate power supply. Its rotary address switches support addresses 01–159 on FlashScan® systems and 01–99 on CLIP systems.
The FRM-1 includes a panel-controlled LED to indicate communication and relay activation status. The LED flashes green during communication and turns steady red when the relay is activated; its blinking function can also be disabled through system settings. SEMS terminals simplify wiring, while the compact design allows installation in a standard 4-inch square electrical box with a minimum depth of 2⅛ inches. The module is also compatible with designated DNR(W) duct detector housings.
